Scott Coulson
I came to Jesus back in 1981 out of the hippy drug culture though grew up in the church and loved it.
Also, I remember hearing the song by Led Zeppelin " In My Time of Dying " during my drug years and it made me think about death and Jesus. Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love. So in 1981, I cried out to Jesus and wow man. He came into my life and I had and have so much joy and peace and now I know that through Jesus, when I die I will be with Him in Heaven.
Over 2 decades ago, evangelist Scott Coulson shared at the Billy Graham Association about his ministry experiences over the years. Afterwards, a young man asked for help sharing his faith. Soon, one more person joined. These three went to the streets, had a wildly fruitful night, and agreed to do it again the next week. And the next. Street Level ministry was soon born, and we began our weekly practice of sharing the gospel of Christ with the lost. Since then, God has been helping us to grow in our evangelism, training, partnerships, and leadership development.
Over the years, we have trained thousands of Christians to share their faith and equipped dozens to teach evangelism to others. Scott is considered by some to be the “father of evangelism in Minneapolis.” He is the Director of Street Level Ministries along with his wife Dahlia and they reside in most of the year in Bloomington and part of the year in Arizona.
